Alyvia...

Aw, this girl melts my heart.

Her heart tests came back and everything looks A- okay. Yay! She has another MRI coming up...I always get really nervous for the MRI, I really don't know what I would do if the tumor came back, aahhh. But its not going to!! I am using positive thinking! (:

Our Easter was fun! (Yeah, I'm aware Easter was a couple weeks ago....I'm kinda slow like that!) My mom and sister came down for Spring Break to see us and then we went back to Idaho for the rest of the weekend. We haven't been back home since we moved here so it was nice to see all the fam and celebrate with them!

Finding Easter eggs

While we were home we got put to work on the farm...

Trapping the animals that are ruining the fields.

Mostly rats, but we did catch one stinky, rabid weasel

All in a days work...

Life with Livie is never dull.

She sure loves to play and sing and talk (she's quite the talker...don't know who she inherited that from...hehe! ;) and ask questions about everything and...well...cry. She still cries quite a bit (still a part of the brain trauma) Some days are better than others and we are still having more better days than bad days, but Livie still has some pretty rough days where there is lots and lots of crying and still some passing out...like I said, never a dull moment here, haha. But Livie is slowly, but surely getting better and its days like this where I know Livie needs me and I'm SO grateful that I get to be home with her as much as I do...even if she is a crazy, little, stinker bug sometimes! (; I sure do love her!

Our days go something like this...

Having a Livie moment...crying...poor thing didn't get to have chocolate for breakfast. haha.

Later that day we went grocery shopping and as I was walking down the aisles grabbing food and what not, people were giggling as they walked past Livie and I...
Guess I need to pay more attention to my child because she was laying in the cart with her nose shoved through the bars making piglet oinks and snorts to everyone that walked past. Cute Liv...

Later that day, Livie climbed up on the countertop (a big no-no), tried to get herself a drink and fell in the sink and got stuck. I'm just glad she didn't fall off the counter!!!

That night, I found her in the curtains, like this...spinning herself in circles, wrapping herself up tighter and tighter...I got to her just before she pulled the curtain rod down on her...
Some where in there she also managed to get some hot pink nail polish on her nice bed comforter, I wasn't too thrilled about that one.
Whew!! A lot goes on all in a days work. My little Bug is one busy girl, but it just means she is healthy and well to be causing havoc like this, so I can't complain too much.
*Disclaimer: I swear I do watch my child and tend to her needs! Swear!! (:

Tea, anyone??

Alyvia loves playing dress up and having tea parties

WARNING: Picture content not for the weak stomach

We were at a funeral and Livie had to go potty (for the 3rd time) so I took her to the restroom and as we were leaving I flung the door open harder than I intended to and the bottom edge of the door caught her toe and toenail just right...cutting the skin and pulling the nail off. AAAAHHHH!! It was bleeding all over the place and Livie was SCREAMING until she passed out...
I felt like the worst mommy ever, I felt SOOO bad!!! After a few tears from both of us and a pink Dora band aid, everything is okay now.

The lambing sheds

Livie got to go to the lambing sheds! When the ewe's start lambing (having their babies) this time of year, its a lot of fun to go walk through the sheds and see all the baby lambs. There are thousands of baby lambs being born, they are all legs and so *cute!!
(*I can only say this now, I didn't used to think baby lambs were so cute...You see, growing up we took in the baby bum lambs-the ones that lost their mother's. So we took them in and had to bottle feed them numerous times a day. Not so bad, you might be thinking...that is until your Dad makes you take in EVERY single bum lamb. 74 baby lambs to bottle feed gets a bit overwhelming!! I don't know how we (and 'we' mostly means my mom!) did it 3 times a day!! Haha, good times!! ;)

Livie didn't get to go to the lambing sheds last year due to her medical problems, so this year was fun, especially since her Grandma and Grandpa Phillips took her!

On her way to see the sheep

So cute!

Livie: Look, Grandma, the lambs are waving at me!!!
Grandma: Oh, they are wagging their tails...
Livie: Yeah, they are 'waving' at ME!

Letting the lamb suck on her finger

Thanks again, mom and dad, for taking Livie bug, she loved it!! (:
