5K for brain injury

We did it!! We ran the 5K for the brain injury association of Utah (BIAU)

Now I am not a runner, I don't really like running...okay so maybe I sort of hate it, haha, but I'm so glad we did it. It was really awesome! Especially since we were doing it for a cause that has affected so many people, including my family and I... and super especially because we got to see Charlie Cooper and his family!!

Okay, so we might not have come in first, or even 2nd or 3rd place, but we did it!!!

Gagoon... aka Lagoon!!!

My best friends neice, Kassi, got to stay with us for 2 days and Livie loved having a playmate around. The girls were so cute together!! We got to do some fun things while Kassi was here... we swam, made cookies, went to a fun night at Hogle zoo and then last, but not least...we went to Gagoon -as Livie calls it! Aka Lagoon!!

4!!!!

ALYVIA IS 4!!!! Yes, you heard me right, my baby is 4 years old! How did this happen and where did the time go!?!
Livie had quite the celebration week...with a birthday party in Idaho and 2 more here, she really enjoyed herself.

We weren't just celebrating her birthday either....Livie had her MRI and she is tumor free, YAYAY!!! (she'll keep having MRI's every 4 months because those blasted tumors like to grow back) Not only was her MRI good news, but she 'passed' her other tests as well. Livie doesn't have blood clots in her brain and there is no signs of stroke. phew! What a blessing. It was a very good day at Primary's. (And we like those days!) Livie did have some breathing issues coming out of the anesthesia from the MRI, but nothing too big. I am just soooo thankful there was no sign of the tumor growing back.

As I reflect on the these 4 years of Livie's life, it is very hard not to get tears in my eyes. I know every mom says this, but I really do have one special little girl (: She has been through a lot and continues to amaze me with the things she has overcome.It is so fun to watch Livie grow up, to watch her learn and to see her fun personality. She also has quite the sense of humor and makes me smile everyday with the things she says and does.She has taught me a lot in the 4 years she's been here and there's not a day that goes by that I don't thank the Lord that Livie is still here with us.

Love you so much, Livie Bug!!! To the moon and back. And then some.

Alyvia...

Aw, this girl melts my heart.

Her heart tests came back and everything looks A- okay. Yay! She has another MRI coming up...I always get really nervous for the MRI, I really don't know what I would do if the tumor came back, aahhh. But its not going to!! I am using positive thinking! (:

Our Easter was fun! (Yeah, I'm aware Easter was a couple weeks ago....I'm kinda slow like that!) My mom and sister came down for Spring Break to see us and then we went back to Idaho for the rest of the weekend. We haven't been back home since we moved here so it was nice to see all the fam and celebrate with them!
