My sister, Ashley, made this for me.
I think she titled it perfectly, what a journey it has been! There have been some rough times and some really great times too.
Livie and I are getting ready to start a new journey, we are moving to Utah this weekend. We are excited and looking forward to what the future has to offer!
As we start this new chapter in our lives, I decided that it is time to make my blog pivate. I want to invite anyone who is interested in keeping updated on Livie's health and progress. I know there are a lot of people who care about Alyvia and have been keeping up to date with her progress through this blog. We appreciate all the sweet comments left on the blog and wonderful support we have gotten from everyone this past year!!! So don't be shy, leave your email so I can send you an invite. About Me
- Megan and Alyvia
- Alyvia is 4 years old. She loves dolls, Dora, and the trampoline. She had a brain tumor in her brain stem and had surgery on Sept 24, 2007 to resect the tumor. She spent almost 3 months at Primary Children's recovering from many complications (some of them being ARDS-lung disease, spinal meningitis and cerebellar mutism.) With cerebellar mutism Livie has had to re-learn quite a few things like talking and walking. She has since come a long ways! She really is our little miracle and has taught us the true meaning of love.

Gosh... as always. I'm crying... You guys always do that to me! You two have come such a long way. I am so proud of you, Megan. I can't imagine going through everything you did and still are. You are an amzing woman and mother. Livie is an angel. I am so glad she is doing better.

I linked to your blog from Charlie Coopers last year sometime. We came to know about him after my now 11 month old was in PCMC for a week soon after he was born. He had a calcium problem. It was still scary! Reading blogs helped me through those scary moments wondering if he was really okay. Now I am attached to all these beautiful children.
