Better!!

Sorry its taken a while to update... First I want to say thank you for all the love and support, it means more than any of you will ever know(: Livie is doing much better, luckily we had a short hospital stay. Livie has continued to have an on and off fever, but no more seizures (thank goodness!) All her lab work came back negative...so we don't really know what she's fighting. The Dr's biggest concerns are the spinal meningitis or the brain tumor, luckily it doesn't look like either of those two are coming back.

We are just happy to be home! I am keeping Livie cooped up in the house for awhile until she's completely over whatever she has. She's not loving it, but because she has a weak immune system she seems to pick up every bug, so we're just being careful and laying low...and watching lots and lots of Dora!!! (:

My brother is 25 now, he was 2 when he had his tumor. I'm glad Livie is feeling better. Seizures are scary as heck! (the waking up part is terrifying!) Hopefully she gets it all under control though. Does she take any medicine for her seizures? My brother has something he takes for it and he only seizes when he runs out of his medicine. Maybe its not the same, I don't know. He might actually have a seizure disorder or something. Anyway, give her a kiss for me! =)

Thanks for the comment :)

I'm okay they tore a very...uh...sensitive part of my skin if you can only imagine what I'm talking about. It's extremely painful to say the least. But I'm okay. The surgery itself wasn't too bad this time...or maybe because it's the 3rd time I'm just used to it all.

I'm sorry to hear about Livie, and I'm glad to hear she is better at the same time. My health issues are no where near Livies and I can't imagine the struggles you go through together. But I do know that she will be such a strong woman some day and that she will have a wonderful life especially with you as her mommy :)

Anyway, keep up posted, as usual!

I love you guys :}

He's been tumor free since he was 2, he is blind, has seizures, and he HAD stunted growth but he had these shots once a week and now he's HUGE but his puberty came kind of late so he's a big little boy, he's still not completely finished either, he just started getting facial hair about 2 years ago. And his maturity level is about that of a 16/17 year old (that may or may not be from his tumor though haha) he's always gotten good grades and all that.
And he has to take a testosterone shot once a month. Other than that he has several little things, depression, anxiety, sleep apnia.. but yeah he's make a pretty good recovery and doesn't have any problems as long as he takes his meds, which sometimes he gets too depressed to take them and he has all sorts of problems then!

That's find I like talking about it haha feel free to ask any questions you want! =)

I didn't know she got lung disease that's terrible! I think my brother had balance issues too and wasn't much of a talker after his surgery either, took him a little bit longer to learn those first couple years but he caught up really well. But I guess the biggest thing was the blindness, and Live got her eye sight back right? So I don't think you'll have to worry about that. =D

I know it's been forever! I really miss you and I would like to see Livie too. I will be around on Saturday, just depends on how I feel. Right now I'm okay just not really getting out of bed. So just call my mom or call me and we can try and figure something out :)
